Position Overview
The Automotive Service Coordinator is an important member of our Service Department team, helping ensure customers receive a smooth and positive service experience. This in-person position focuses on coordinating service appointments, managing both incoming and outgoing communications, and assisting with the daily organization of service operations while working within the CDK dealership management system. This opportunity is available due to an existing vacancy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to service-related inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Schedule, update, and confirm service appointments efficiently using the CDK system.

  • Maintain accurate customer profiles and service history records within CDK.

  • Make outbound calls for appointment reminders, missed appointments, declined services, and seasonal maintenance follow-ups.

  • Work closely with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure appointment scheduling supports an efficient workflow.

  • Keep the reception and work area organized and welcoming for customers visiting the service department.

  • Assist with service department initiatives, promotional campaigns, and efforts to improve customer satisfaction.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is considered an asset.

  • At least one year of experience in customer service, administration, or within a dealership environment.

  • Familiarity with CDK dealership software is preferred.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities.

  • Ability to remain calm, polite, and professional in a busy environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a positive, team-focused attitude.

  • Comfortable using multi-line phone systems, email, and computer-based applications.
